For the past seven years, The Mockingbird was a staple of downtown Havana, FL. In March of 2010 Mockingbird reopened in it's current location at 1225 N. Monroe St, in midtown Tallahassee.
The Mockingbird has been sculpted into a literal and figurative work of art. There you will find paintings by local artist covering the walls, acoustic music wafting through the building, and creative gourmet dishes of North Florida appealing to palates of all persuasions.
Executive Chef Bill Quigley, has cooked in some of the finest restaurants in Atlanta, Memphis and Barcelona, Spain. Before coming to Mockingbird, Bill was the Executive Chef at the Tallahassee Governor’s Club. This wealth of knowledge is represented on every plate. Bill has hand picked his staff and he instructs and allows them to be part of the creative process
